Snow halts Ont. flights

A dumping of about 15 cm of snow in regions across Ontario has led to 200 cancellations at Toronto's Pearson International Airport.

Environment Canada says most parts of southern Ontario can expect about 15 cm of snow, but more could fall in eastern Ontario.

The cancellations at Pearson airport were in addition to several delays. Travellers are advised to call ahead to check on their flight status before heading to the airport.

School boards in several Ontario regions were forced to cancel classes or buses due to the snow.
