New rules requiring UK visitors to the US to register online before travelling could lead to thousands of tourists being turned away, it has been warned.
Those who have not registered are likely to be detained at US airports and sent home, the Foreign Office said.
From Monday, Britons travelling on the visa waiver scheme will need to fill in an electronic travel authorisation form 72 hours before their trip.
