According to the company's Monday press statement, flights from Kyiv to Astana and back will be launched from March 31 2009.
The company will make two flights a week, on Tuesdays, starting from March 31, and on Thursdays, starting from May 21. Boeing 737-800 will serve the destination.
According to Windrose director, Vladimir Kamenchuk, the direct flight from Kyiv to Astana opens more possibilities for development of economic and cultural ties not only between the capitals of Ukraine and Kazakhstan, but both countries in whole.
Flight from Kyiv to Astana is the company's third scheduled flight. Earlier Windrose launched two scheduled flights from Kharkiv to Istanbul and from Kyiv to Moscow.
