new domestic flights from Gatwick

Flybe announced that it is coming to the rescue of Leeds-Bradford Airport with a new lifeline linking the Yorkshire hub to London Gatwick.

Flybe also operates a network of European services that includes flights to Amsterdam, Malaga, Paris and Milan.
Tony Hallwood, commercial director at the Yorkshire airport, said: "We welcome the introduction of Flybe flights to London Gatwick which will once again provide a valuable air link to the capital for business and leisure travellers.
Flybe announced the service after bmi's decision to cease flights to Leeds-Bradford from Heathrow Airport. Tony Hallwood, commercial director at the Yorkshire region from London and the Yorkshire region from London and the Yorkshire and Humber region is set to be boosted by the creation of up to 130 jobs as a result of the new flights.

The regional airline will launch a new three-times daily service between the two airports on June 29th using a Bombardier Q400 aircraft.
