Cheap flights to Mumbai, Delhi from Dubai

Indian private carrier Kingfisher Airlines, has announced its next phase international flights network expansion.

Adding to its existing Dubai-Bangalore flight launched last month, the airlines said there are plans to expand its offering connecting New Delhi to Dubai and Mumbai flights to Dubai.

New flights from New Delhi to Bangkok, Mumbai to Bangkok and Mumbai to Colombo are also on the anvil. The flights on these routes will be operated using the Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft.

Beginning September 2009, Kingfisher Airlines plans to launch Mumbai Singapore and Mumbai Hong Kong flights.

Commenting on the plans for these new international routes, Prakash Mirpuri, Vice-President, Corporate Communications, said, "The plan to launch these new services is consistent with our goal of redeploying capacity on routes with better yields as compared to domestic sectors. Our assessment of travel behaviour in these markets, flyer preferences and projected demand indicates promising potential on these eight new international routes".

Both will be daily direct return flights and will be operated using the brand new Airbus A330-200 aircraft. Bookings for travel on these sectors are expected to be opened shortly.
