flights during winter

Swiss International Airlines is reducing its service, saying it’s been forced to take the move because bookings are down.

The airline’s winter timetable will be specifically affected, with a 9 percent reduction in flights.

Between the end of October and the end of March, the airline will cut its flights to New York from Geneva or Zurich from 21 to 18. The airline says that most other long-haul journeys routes will be cut from seven a week to six a week.
