New flights to Italy from Luton

A new low cost airline, Wind Jet, is to start flights to Italy from Luton Airport. The Italian based carrier will begin operations tomorrow.

The arrival of Wind Jet represents more choice for passengers travelling to villas in Italy. The airline will offer two services per week to/from Forli, in Emilia-Romagna.

The flights to Forli are ideal for travellers wanting to head away from the country's popular tourist destinations and explore undiscovered Italy. The services are also a good choice for those taking a holiday in Sicily, being timed to provide onward connections to Catania and Palermo flights.

Luton Airport is enthusiastic about Wind Jet's new service: "We are delighted to announce the arrival of Wind Jet....
we are confident that these flights will be extremely successful," said Simon Harley, airline manager at the airport. "Low fares... make business and leisure travel increasingly accessible to millions of Europeans and the launch of this new flights to Forli provides yet more choice for our passengers."
