Cheap flights to Barcelona

Now cheap flights to Barcelona may wish to journey 20 miles down the coast to visit Sitges, which one writer has likened to the St Tropez of Spain.

Paul Clements, in an article for the Telegraph, states that the seaside resort is unspoilt and where many of the rich and famous head when they wish to top up their tans.

However, he adds that the town also offers a "bohemian spirit" and that Picasso and his friends often visited for a relaxing break.

Furthermore, its location near to Catalan wine country means there are plenty of opportunities for visitors to sample a drop of home-grown sparkling cava.

And travelers who have booked Barcelona flights may enjoy the chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city to enjoy a day basking on the beach beneath the Spanish sun.

This time out may be particularly beneficial as there is plenty to keep visitors busy in Barcelona, even if they are there on a tight budget.
