additional flights to Jersey

Flybe going to launch an additional flight to Jersey from London Gatwick during the forthcoming winter season.

The regional carrier will offer a seventh weekday service from 25 October, meaning travellers will be able to choose from a wider range of flights operating from Monday to Friday.

Business customers are expected to be well served by the new connection, which will provide a morning arrival in Jersey 75 minutes earlier than the services that are currently available.

Mike Rutter, Flybe's chief commercial officer, said: 'The addition of this seventh weekday flight shows our continued commitment to serving Jersey and to listening and actioning what our passengers actually want.

'We remain committed to serving the island community by providing the most frequent, affordable and convenient service on this route.'

The airline also offers flights to Dusseldorf, Bergerac, Belfast and other destinations across the UK from its base at London Gatwick.
